No TCS-Fall League for 2014

The Lansing Soccer Club is suspending operation of the Tompkins County Soccer - Fall League (TCS-FL).  The  TCS-FL was created years ago as a stepping stone between very local recreational soccer programs and more competitive travel/club teams. With the creation of the Expressway Fall League by NYSWYSA last year, we saw a significant decrease in the number of teams entering TCS-FL and expect that downward trend to continue. Though it was a difficult decision to make, the Lansing Soccer Club decided at their April meeting that it did not make sense to offer the league in the Fall of 2014.

THE GOOD NEWS Broome County Soccer Association (BCSA) plans to offer a new Fall League to compliment BCSA-Spring League.   The Lansing Soccer Club believes that the wealth of experience that the BCSA has in running the well established BCSA Spring League will carry over to that organization's running of a successful fall league.

We encourage you to stay in communication with the BCSA via Bill Campbell <tripsdad@printswilliam.com> for details on their efforts to continue the Fall Soccer effort.
