The Lansing Soccer Club (LSC) was established in 2001 and is a member of the Broome County Soccer Association (BCSA) and the New York State West Youth Soccer Association (NYSWYSA). With these memberships, LSC is also affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and FIFA.

A sampling of LSC programs and activities

  • Registering players and teams with NYSWYSA, so that the teams are eligible to participate in area travel leagues and tournaments
  • Providing fields for outdoor play (with support from the Town of Lansing and the Lansing Schools)
  • Supporting Town of Lansing recreation soccer programs
  • Supporting Lansing High School and Modified soccer teams
  • Advertising soccer opportunities for youth through our "News and Announcements" page (e.g., summer camps)
  • Hosting coaching clinics; providing financial assistance for coaches to attend certification classes and clinics
  • Supporting player training/fitness clinics
  • Coordinating the Tompkins County Soccer Fall League since its inception through 2013
  • Hosting College Recruiting Seminars (conducted by NYSWYSA)


Referee Training

Interested in helping the game of soccer or learning to see the game from another view? Become a referee and do both at the same time. Referees are always needed for all levels. Contact Bill Campbell if you are interested.
